John McDonnell founded Earth Day as we know it in 1970. April 22nd is the most recognized date for Earth Day, while some people still choose to celebrate Earth Day on the first day of Sping. Earth Day is intended to make us aware of how we influence resources from our planet. There are many activities, campaigns, and events scheduled on this day to promote awareness of Earth's issues.
Earth Day can be a very exciting holiday as there is tons to do and so many party supplies to choose from.
